Windbreaker
Okay so, I’m currently working on my Midterm Trend Presentation. About a month ago or so I noticed someone on the train wearing a throwback windbreaker jacket and I was taken back by the sight of it because it brought back memories from my 90’s childhood like female group band ”TLC”, Will Smith in “Fresh Prince of Bel air”, “Clarissa explains it all”, and “House party”. The sight of it gave me mixed feelings but felt overall optimistic about it. Ever since I have been seeing it worn by many hitting the New York pavements. I decided that this second coming of this trend would be perfect to use for my project. I knew it would be the next thing to emerge from the 90’s after the combat boot explosion, which is still prevalent.
